Anonymous said: I know this girl who moved from Malmö to work in Stockholm. She was fifteen. A seventeen-yearold from the far north of Sweden came to the same city, the very same year, on navy duty. One day, he was walking through Gula Slussen (The Yellow Gate) wondering what time it was, asking the only person in sight. And the girl answered.

These people were my grandparents. They have now been married for almost 60 years.
